1.Introduction and scope
This policy explains how Color Quest: Ball Sort Puzzle (the “Game”), available as an Android game and as a game you can play in your web browser, handles information. Where this policy refers to Android, advertising or Google services, it describes the Android version unless it says otherwise. It applies to the Game only. It does not apply to other Vexo Games games, which have their own policies. See our privacy overview.
It also does not cover third-party services you reach from the Game, such as Google’s own services. Their policies apply to them.
2.Who we are
The Game is published by Vexo Games. You can contact us about privacy at hello@vexogames.com.
3.Information the game processes
Stored on your device. The Game saves your progress (levels completed, stars, coins, hints, unlocked ball styles and daily puzzle results) and your settings (music, effects, vibration, reduced motion, color symbols, reminders and your ad-consent status) in the Game’s private storage on your phone. It also keeps a few counters so it does not nag you: how many times it has asked you to rate the game or to turn on reminders, and when. There is no account, and this data is not sent to us.
Browser version. When you play in your web browser, the same progress and settings are saved in your browser’s own local storage (IndexedDB) on your device, so they are still there after you refresh the page or close the tab. There is no account and no game-save server, and this data is not sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data, or using a private or incognito window, can remove it or stop it from being kept. The browser version runs the game as a Unity WebGL application served from our website, and shows no advertising. Our website host may keep ordinary server logs for delivering the page.
Android backup. Android’s automatic app backup is on for the Game. Depending on your device and settings, Android may copy the Game’s saved data to your Google account and restore it if you reinstall the Game or set up a new phone. That backup is made and held by Google under your Google account settings, not by us, and you can switch it off in your phone’s settings.
Reminders (optional). After some levels the Game may ask whether you would like reminders about your next level or the daily puzzle. They are off until you say yes. They are local notifications: your phone itself keeps the schedule and shows them, so no server of ours is involved and nothing about you is sent to us. On Android 13 and later your phone asks you to allow notifications, and the Game adds the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission for this. You can switch reminders off in the Game’s Settings or in your phone’s notification settings. The Game stops sending them if you keep not opening it.
Rating the Game. The Game may offer a “Rate us” button. It uses Google Play’s in-app review feature, shown by Google over the Game. We are not told whether you rated or what you wrote.
No analytics or crash reporting of our own. The Game does not include an analytics or crash-reporting service. Unity’s analytics, advertising, purchasing and cloud-diagnostics services are switched off in the project settings.
Advertising technology. The Game includes Google’s Mobile Ads SDK and User Messaging Platform SDK. When they run, they process information as described in sections 4 to 8.
When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message, and use them to respond.
Sharing. The Game’s Share screen shows a QR code and a link to the Game, and can copy the link or hand text and the link to Android’s share sheet. The QR code is drawn on your device and contains only the link. What happens next depends on the app you choose.
4.Advertising and Google Mobile Ads
The Game uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The only ad format is an optional rewarded video, offered when you have no hints left. You choose whether to watch it, and the hint is added only when the video completes. The Game does not show banner, interstitial or app-open ads.
Google and its advertising partners may process information to provide, measure, protect and personalize advertising, as permitted by your consent choices and applicable settings. The Game does not set an option to limit requests to non-personalized ads, so we do not promise that ads are non-personalized. Whether ads are personalized depends on your region, your consent and your device and Google account settings.
Even when you close an ad, the SDK may already have processed information to request, deliver or measure it. We describe only what can be established from the SDK integration and Google’s documentation, linked in section 7.
5.Consent and privacy choices
The Game uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect consent where it is required. Whether you see a consent message depends on your region, the legal requirements that apply, your previous choices and the message configured for the Game. Not every player will see one.
The Game starts the advertising SDK only after UMP indicates that ads may be requested. In public releases, the Game also holds back ads until Google reports that consent was obtained or is not required. If the consent step cannot complete or you are offline, the game keeps working and ads simply do not appear.
Where your region requires a way to change your choice, Settings in the Game shows Ad privacy choices, which reopens Google’s privacy options form. You can also manage ad personalization and the advertising ID in your Android device’s settings (the location varies by device and Android version) and in your Google ad settings.
6.Identifiers, IP address and diagnostics
The Google SDKs add these Android permissions to the Game: INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, AD_ID, and Android ad-services permissions for the advertising ID, attribution and topics. The Game’s own additional permissions are VIBRATE, used for optional vibration, and POST_NOTIFICATIONS, used only for the optional reminders described in section 3. Other libraries the Game uses add WAKE_LOCK and FOREGROUND_SERVICE.
According to Google’s disclosure for the Mobile Ads SDK, the SDK may collect or process information such as the advertising ID and other device or app identifiers, your IP address (from which approximate location may be derived), device and app information, diagnostics and performance data, and interactions with ads. Google determines what is collected and may update it, so please refer to that page for the current list.
Whether some of this is processed can depend on your consent and device settings.
7.Third-party providers
The Game uses these providers:
- Google LLC (Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, User Messaging Platform, Google Play in-app review and Android’s backup service).
Learn more from Google:
- Google Privacy Policy

- How Google uses information from apps that use its services

The Game is built with the Unity engine. Unity services that collect data are switched off in the project. Google Play and Android are provided by Google and your device maker and have their own policies.
9.Data retention and security
Data stored by the Game on your device stays there until you clear the Game’s data (or, in the browser, the site data for vexogames.com) or uninstall it. Because we do not hold it, we cannot restore it for you. If Android backup is on, a copy may also be kept in your Google account until you delete it there. Google keeps the data it processes under its own retention policies.
The Game itself never asks for or collects your email address. We receive your email address and message only if you choose to write to us. We keep a support message only for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a short record of the request, and then we delete it. We use Android’s app sandbox to protect saved data on your device. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.Children’s privacy
The Game is intended for players aged 13 and over (or the higher minimum age that applies where you live). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The Game does not ask for a name, email address or any account, and has no chat, user-generated content or social features.
If you are under the minimum age, please do not use the Game without a parent or guardian’s permission. Parents and guardians who believe a child under 13 has provided information to us can write to hello@vexogames.com, and we will help. Google’s services process limited technical information to serve and protect ads for all players, as set out in sections 6 to 8, and your region’s consent message (see section 5) applies to you.
11.Regional privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information, such as to access, correct, delete, or restrict its use, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. Some regions also give you a right to opt out of certain kinds of ad personalization.
Most information the Game stores is on your device, where you can remove it by clearing the Game’s data or uninstalling. A backup copy that Android made in your Google account is managed in your Google account settings. For information Google processes, use the Game’s Ad privacy choices (where shown), your device settings, and the Google links in section 7. For anything we hold, such as emails, contact hello@vexogames.com.
12.International processing
Google operates globally. Information processed through its advertising services may be handled in countries other than the one you live in, under Google’s own policies and safeguards. See the Google Privacy Policy. The email service we use to receive support messages may also process them in other countries, under its own policies.
13.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the Game or its SDKs change. We will change the effective date at the top of this page when we do. If a change is significant, we will highlight it on the Game’s page.
